Epic Women to host ‘Rise Up Now’ Women’s Conference

Women from across the region are invited to a day of encouragement, faith and fellowship at the upcoming “Rise Up Now” Women’s Conference 2026, set for Saturday, May 2, at Epic Church in Glenpool.

Hosted by Epic Women and organized through Epic Church, the one-day event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 1603 E. 141st Street. Admission to the conference is free, though organizers note that registration is required to attend.

The conference aims to inspire and uplift women through powerful testimonies, shared experiences and spiritual growth opportunities. A highlight of the day will be featured guest speaker Dr. Cheryl Salem, a nationally known Christian evangelist who first rose to prominence as Miss America in 1980. Salem is widely recognized for sharing her personal journey of overcoming life’s challenges, hardships and grief through her faith.

Conference organizers say Salem’s message is expected to resonate deeply with attendees, offering encouragement and hope through real-life experiences grounded in faith.

In addition to the keynote message, participants will enjoy a welcoming and engaging atmosphere throughout the day. A donation- based coffee bar and gourmet cookies will be available, and pasta lunch will be provided for attendees.

The event is being hosted by Susie Berry of Epic Church, who, along with a team of volunteers, has helped coordinate the conference to create a meaningful experience for women of all ages.

Organizers also noted that event-themed T-shirts will be available for purchase for $25, with proceeds and availability coordinated through Monroe & Chante Boutique.

With a focus on renewal, connection and spiritual growth, the “Rise Up Now” Women’s Conference is expected to draw attendees from across the area looking to be encouraged and empowered.

For those interested in attending, early registration is encouraged to secure a spot for what promises to be an inspiring day of faith and fellowship.
