Last week, Henryetta Chamber of Commerce President Amber Mordecai and Vice President Kenny Wilson spent the day at the State Capitol for Chamber Day – and what an incredible opportunity it was to make sure Henryetta businesses are represented at the highest levels of state government.
The duo had the opportunity to meet with Senator Logan, where they discussed current legislation on the floor and shared how the Henryetta Chamber and its board are actively working towards strengthening our local business community and plans for implementing new ideas to ensure that happens.
They were also able to connect with State Chamber guests like John Budd, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, and Michael Burns, president of Team OKC, the organizational group of the Olympics 2028. Also included was a discussion of critical bills currently being considered, with legislators and chambers from across Oklahoma.
Topics directly impacting Henryetta’s future included: • Oklahoma Youth – The Future
• Economic Growth
• Support for Local Businesses The Chamber is proud to advocate for our community and ensure Henryetta’s voice is heard where it matters most.
