David Hatfield Hollis, 66, a longtime Tulsa resident, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
David was born April 15, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert L. Hollis and Gloria Hope (Hatfield) Hollis. He graduated from Okmulgee High School with the Class of 1977.
David and his late wife, Nell, married in January of 1999.
David had lived in Tulsa for many years and also resided at Grand Lake, where he was able to enjoy his love of boating and golfing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Robert Vinson Hollis.
David is survived by many dear friends. He also leaves behind Luana Dickerson who provided years of consistency, compassion, competence and care out of love for the Hollis family.
A special thank you to the team of caregivers at Home Instead for their exceptional care of David.
A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Okmulgee Cemetery, with Father Noel Doherty officiating.
