This report is a summary of activities Okmulgee County Emergency Management participated in and does not reflect all activities performed by or participated in by Okmulgee County Emergency Management.
— Meetings & Administrative Activities • Attended the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting.
• Received and processed five floodplain inquiries, including one request involving the proposed construction of an extensive driveway through designated floodplain areas.
— Incident Response
• Responded to three grass fires.
• Responded to one reported possible structure fire, which was determined to be an abandoned vehicle fire upon arrival.
— Grant & Project Management
• Completed the closeout request for the Okmulgee County DR-4776 Section 406 Mitigation Grant.
• Final inspections for the Okmulgee County and City of Morris mitigation projects are scheduled for Dec. 5.

Weather Monitoring & Preparedness Activities
• Continued monitoring of a weather system producing intermittent rainfall across the county.
• Initiated monitoring of an incoming arctic air mass expected to arrive over the weekend, bringing the lowest temperatures of the season.
• Early outlooks indicate the potential for ice and snow; however, timing, precipitation amounts and precipitation type remain uncertain at this range.
• Residents are advised to begin preparations for possible impacts from Sunday into next week.
