D. Andrews got Morris on the board in the first inning with an RBI groundout, but Meeker quickly answered with two runs in the bottom half and never looked back.
Meeker padded its lead in the second and exploded for five runs in the fifth, with Maverick Herring’s double and Daythan Lawson’s two-run single sealing the game.
Landon Martin started for Morris and allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits across three innings. He also led the Eagles offensively, going 2-for-2 from the leadoff spot.
Meeker totaled nine hits, with Lawson driving in four and Cashmon Creacy adding multiple hits.
