Yaerger was equally impressive on the mound, earning the win by throwing four scoreless innings, allowing only two hits while striking out seven. Vinton Goff closed out the game with a clean inning of relief, striking out two.
Offensively, Dewar compiled 10 hits, with Kilhoffer, Yaerger and Hankins each collecting multiple RBIs. The Dragons also took advantage of nine walks and eight stolen bases to keep Gore’s defense off balance.
The Dragons’ defense was airtight, committing no errors. Braelin Lewis led the team in fielding with nine chances.
Dewar will host Kiefer on Tuesday as they look to extend their hot streak.
