The Lady Pirates hit an impressive six home runs during the outing. Ashleigh Hurt hit two home runs in the fourth inning alone and drove in five runs. Na’Braijhanae Phillips and Olivia Beaver also crossed the plate once each. Taylan Starr added a grand slam to her stat line, while Kynlee Martin and Caris Tecumseh provided key RBIs.
Kristin Holuby earned the win in the circle despite a tough day defensively, allowing 16 runs (15 earned) over five innings.
