Beggs blanks Henryetta in shutout

The Beggs Golden Demons breezed past the Henryetta Knights with a 10-0 win on Friday, powered by early offensive production and stellar pitching.

Beggs wasted no time getting on the board, with Kevin Montgue’s first-inning RBI single setting the tone. A five-run third inning, highlighted by a tworun double from Lane Kelly, extended their lead to double digits.

Ranson Stephens took care of business on the mound, allowing just one hit while striking out seven over five innings.

Henryetta’s Mavrix Randleman hit 1-for-2. — Dragons’ explosive first inning leads to win The Dewar Dragons put on an offensive showcase Saturday, scoring eight runs in the first inning en route to a dominant 10-0 victory over the Moss Pirates.

Dewar capitalized on early walks and clutch hitting, with Luke Hankins delivering the biggest blow – a three-run home run to left field. Additional RBIs from Vinton Goff, Braelin Lewis and Tanner Wilson padded the lead.

On the mound, Stoney Yaerger pitched a gem, allowing just one hit over four shutout innings while striking out five.

Along with Hankins’ three-run homer, Jeron Brison had a pair of hits and Peyton Kilhoffer drove in a run.

— Tomlinson powers Dewar past Roff

Dewar Dragons slugger Aidan Tomlinson put on a show Saturday, launching two home runs and driving in five runs in an 8-0 shutout win over the Roff Tigers.

Tomlinson’s first home run came in the third inning, putting Dewar on the board with a three-run blast. He followed that up with another deep shot in the fifth, adding three more to the Dragons’ lead.

Ayden Been was lights out on the mound, tossing a complete-game shutout while striking out seven.

Aside from Tomlinson’s two home run, five RBI performance, Stoney Yaeger and Braelin Lewis each drove in a run for the Dragons.

— Pirates dominate Hulbert in 12-0 rout

Kaden Dean led the charge for Preston on Saturday, going a perfect 3-for-3 with a triple, double and single as the Pirates overwhelmed Hulbert 12-0.

Preston struck early, with Dean’s first-inning double setting the table. The second and third innings saw continued offensive pressure, as Weston Cope and Pepper Gallup delivered key RBIs.

On the mound, Jayden Herring was untouchable, allowing just two hits while striking out six over three innings.

Hunter McElhannon also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Preston faced Dibble in their next matchup on Monday.

— Eagles fall to Will Rogers despite outhitting opponent Even though the Eagles outhit the Will Rogers College Dewar Dragons Ropers, they were unable to turn their offensive advantage into a victory, falling 3-1 on Thursday.

Both teams showcased strong pitching performances. Will Rogers College’s Pablo Torres dominated on the mound, striking out eight batters and allowing only one unearned run over seven innings. On the Eagles’ side, Eli Grange had an impressive outing, allowing just four hits and three unearned runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five.

The game remained tight throughout. Will Rogers College struck first in the bottom of the first inning when Brian Trevino hit into a double play that still managed to bring home a run. The Eagles responded in the fourth, as Grange singled to center field, tying the game at 1-1.

However, a costly error in the bottom of the fifth inning allowed Will Rogers College to reclaim the lead. A hit-by-pitch followed, extending their advantage to 3-1, which ultimately sealed the Eagles’ fate.

Morris’ Eli Grange went 2-for-3 with an RBI. — Wildcats dominate Morris with third-inning surge The Checotah Wildcats overwhelmed the Eagles 13-0 on Friday, propelled by a massive 10-run third inning.

Checotah got on the board in the second inning following an error by the Eagles, along with an RBI double from Eli Patterson and an RBI single from Mason Rainbolt. The third inning saw a flurry of runs, including key hits from Cale Thompson, Treagan DuVall, Kross Stauffer, and Patterson, whose bases-clearing double sealed the Eagles’ fate.

Eagles’ starter Landon Martin struggled against the Wildcats’ lineup, giving up seven runs (three earned) over two innings while striking out four.
