Lady Demons dominate Barnsdall, Prue in back-to-back victories

The Beggs Lady Demons kicked off their season with commanding victories over Barnsdall and Prue, showcasing explosive offensive performances and strong pitching. The Lady Demons put on an offensive clinic against Barnsdall, securing a dominant 17-0 win, before following it up with a solid 14-6 victory over Prue.

--- Big First Inning Propels Beggs Past Barnsdall The Beggs Lady Demons wasted no time establishing their dominance against Barnsdall, scoring 10 runs in the first inning en route to a 17-0 shutout on Monday.

The offensive onslaught began with Chloe Cooper drawing a walk to bring in a run, followed by a two-run double from Emma Trimble. Ruby Tenison followed suit with another two-run double, extending the lead. Abby Yandell singled to drive in a run, and Kayleigh Thompson added another by tagging up and scoring. Haylee Baughn kept the rally going with an RBI single, and Abigail Harmon drew a bases-loaded walk for yet another run. Angel Aylor rounded out the inning with a groundout that still managed to score a run.

Beggs continued to pile on in the second inning, with Abby Yandell and Taytum Mills drawing walks to force in runs. Stella Howell grounded out to score a run, while Destiny Chisum, Haylee Baughn, Chloe Cooper, and Emma Trimble each recorded RBI hits to push the lead to 17-0.

Abby Yandell was stellar on the mound, allowing only two hits and striking out three over three scoreless innings.

Emma Trimble led the charge, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Destiny Chisum, Haylee Baughn and Ruby Tenison also recorded two hits each.

Beggs capitalized on patience at the plate, drawing eight walks in the game.

• Stella Howell - RBI --- Beggs Lady Demons Overcome Early Deficit to Beat Prue 14-6 Beggs faced an early challenge against Prue on Tuesday but used a late offensive surge to pull away for a 14-6 victory.

Prue took an early lead with two runs in the first inning and added two more in the second to go up 4-0. However, the Lady Demons responded in the third inning, tying the game with a double from Angel Aylor and RBI hits from Chloe Cooper and Ruby Tenison.

After Prue briefly regained a 5-4 lead in the fourth, Beggs took control in the bottom of the inning. Stella Howell doubled to drive in a run, Haylee Baughn grounded out to score another, and Howell stole home to give Beggs a 7-5 advantage.

The Lady Demons put the game away with a seven-run outburst in the fifth inning. The rally was fueled by a double from Chloe Cooper, singles from Ruby Tenison, Taytum Mills, and Haylee Baughn, and a key tworun single from Baughn. An error brought in an additional run to cap the scoring.

Ruby Tenison earned the win, allowing eight hits and six runs (three earned) over five innings, while striking out one.

Haylee Baughn led the team with three RBIs on a 2-for-4 day. Stella Howell, Chloe Cooper, and Ruby Tenison all delivered multiple clutch hits. Beggs again showed discipline at the plate, drawing eight walks, with Abigail Harmon and Mylah Williams leading the way with two each.

With these two strong victories, the Beggs Lady Demons continue to build momentum as they progress through their season.
