In their effort to make a trip to Washington D.C. in 2025, the Henryetta Knight Brigade Band has several fundraisers planned, including some this weekend.
There will be a car wash event with donations only this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the First Family Federal Credit Union parking lot.
The Henryetta Band Boosters will also have a bake sale with all proceeds going toward the trip. All donations are welcome. And be sure to get your tickets to the upcoming “Dancing Through the Decades” Mom Prom during the car wash. Tickets, normally $40 each, will be two for $70.

• Chairperson - Shanna Tyler - Band Director Alan Montgomery and the Knight Brigade have been asked to perform in the 2025 Memorial Day Parade in the nation’s capital. With the assistance of the band boosters, fundraising efforts are underway as the Knight Brigade needs approximately $70,000 to pay for the trip. About 40 students and over 10 adult chaperones will accompany the band.
