Henryetta Police Department K-9 Sergeant Theran Richards made a routine traffic stop on Tuesday evening on Frisco Street, resulting in the arrest of a Wainwright man and discovery of drugs and paraphernalia.
According to HPD Chief Steve Norman, Sgt. Richards discovered four ounces of methamphetamine, baggies for resale and weighing equipment while searching the suspect’s vehicle.
Sgt. Richards arrested 47-year-old Jerry Chad Pippin of Wainwright on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Paraphernalia, Speeding and Failure to Drive on the Right Side of Roadway.
“Pippin has a long criminal history,” Chief Norman said.
According to the Oklahoma On Demand Court Records (ODCR) website, Pippin’s charges date back to 1996 and range from Auto Larceny, Arson, Murder, Possession of Psudoephedrine with Intent to Manufacture, Burglary and more.
Pippin was transferred to the Okmulgee County Jail where he awaits arraignment.
