I was born in Kuwait and came to the U.S. for higher education in 1979, seeking opportunity. I have one daughter and two sons, all born in Oklahoma. My children all have college educations and are involved in science and engineering.
While in high school, I joined graduate programs in the study of microbiology and biochemistry. I always loved education and training to develop my knowledge and skills.
I spent many years in those programs and then joined a graduate engineering program.
That led to starting my consulting engineering firm in 1993, which is in business still today.
I hold many professional certifications spanning many areas.
I have always believed in God, family, and developing good communities. The role of family and church in improving individuals and society was always paramount. All this improved my communication skills and the ability to deliver my ideas.
Good communication is very important in working with society.
In addition, I have been an instructor close to 40 years. That helped me understand education, history and procedures, and understand educational institutes.
With my education and skills, I believe I can serve the people of Okmulgee County well and be of benefit to all.
I appreciate your support. God bless us all.
