Nominations are now being accepted for 2019 Henryettan of the Year at the Free-Lance office.
Before the end of the year, nominees must be named so they can be announced at the annual Henryetta Chamber of Commerce Banquet held in January.
Since 1949, Henryetta Free-Lance has sponsored this annual event.
Each year, an exceptional citizen is awarded the unique honor of being named Henryettan of the Year.
Nominees must be citizens of Henryetta as well as residents of surrounding areas who have volunteered to provide positive improvements in Henryetta during 2018. Past volunteer work can also be included in nomination letters.
Everyone is asked to consider volunteer efforts throughout 2019 in order to help make nominations.
If you would like to nominate someone, please visit us at the Free-Lance office at 302 W. Main or email the Editor at tracy@bigbasinllc.com no later than Dec. 31, 2019.
When making your nominations, please include a list of all the reasons why you think your nominee should be awarded Henryettan of the Year.
Since this event was established, the award has been presented to 77 nominees. This year will mark the 78th Henryettan of the Year Award.
The winning nominee will receive special recognition on the front page of the Free-Lance as well as an appealing plaque in honor of their achievement.
