A grand opening and open house is in the works for Boone Creek Trading Company in Henryetta which will house Mel’s Country Market, operated by Melesa Smith.
All summer long Melesa has provided a large variety of fresh produce to Henryettans at her fruit and vegetable stand set up on the corner of 1st and Main streets just west of the railroad tracks.
Yesterday, she moved to her new location in the old Bob’s Clothing building located at 413 W. Main Street in Henryetta, right next door to the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce.
She currently offers some fall favorties including corn stalks, Indian corn and mini pumpkins along with her regular produce items.
Mel’s Country Market is open every Wednesday through Friday around 10 a.m.
Melesa announced that Boone Creek Trading Company will house her fruit and vegetable stand along with a coffee shop with sandwiches for a grab-and-go experience. In addition, antique vendor booth spaces will be available on the second floor.
The Free-Lance will announce the open house event for Boone Creek Trading Company when a set date is scheduled.
In the meantime, everyone can still enjoy all of the quality, home-grown, fresh produce that Mel’s Country Market has to offer.
