Henryetta Middle School (HMS) Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) students participated in the Flight Night Back-to-School STEM Expo in Tulsa on Sept. 19.
Hosted by the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, the expo was part county fair, part science fair and part job fair.
More than 50 businesses, nonprofits and organizations were on hand featuring hands-on, curiosity-driven activities and experiences.
HMS students visited many vendor booths where they participated in interactive exhibits, introducing them to career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math fields. In addition to Henryetta, many other schools in the state were in attendance. The expo was held at the Exchange Center at Expo Square in Tulsa.
