Next food distrubution date for the Henryetta Feed the Vet program will be Friday, Sept. 13 at New Life Assembly of God Church on New Lake Road.
“Volunteers are needed to assist with putting together and distributing food baskets for veterans and their families and should be at the church by or before 9:30 a.m.,” event organizer Donnie McKay said.
Line-up for food distribution will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Large food baskets will be provided for 125 veterans and their families in need of assistance.
“If you can provide any assistance with helping put together the baskets, please join in and help our veterans,” McKay said. “All help will be greatly appreciated.”
