Due to the ongoing state of emergency due to winter weather, residents are being reminded the price gouging statute is in effect.

The Oklahoma Tax Commission recently released city sales tax collection figures that primarily represents local tax receipts from November business. The monies they reported this period represent sales from December 16 to 31 and estimated sales from January 1 to 15.

This cold snap is raising awareness of homelessness in Oklahoma - especially in northeast Oklahoma where a man froze to death overnight last week.
