Behind a dominant offensive performance and a standout day from Emmy Hall, the Dewar Lady Dragons rolled to a commanding 14-0 victory over Okemah on Tuesday.
Hall led the charge with a perfect day at the plate, driving in four runs on three hits. She delivered a two-run triple in the second inning and followed it up with an inside-the-park home run in the third, adding two more runs to her impressive outing.
Dewar set the tone early, erupting for six runs in the second inning to take control of the game. Brooklyn Harvell started the rally with an RBI double, followed by run-scoring hits from Cali Thomason and Shyan Snelson. Hall’s triple drove in two more runs, and Korbyn Anderson capped the inning with an RBI triple.
The Lady Dragons put the game out of reach in the third inning, exploding for eight more runs. Thomason added an RBI single, Jaycie Berry delivered a three-run double, and Hall’s insidethe- park home run highlighted the inning. Miracle Story and Peyton Farrow each contributed RBIs as Dewar continued to pour it on.
In the circle, Thomason was just as dominant as she was at the plate. The right-hander allowed just one hit over three shutout innings while striking out six and walking one, keeping Okemah from ever finding offensive rhythm.
Dewar finished the game with 15 hits, showcasing a balanced and explosive lineup. Thomason, Anderson and Farrow each recorded multiple hits in the victory.
Defensively, the Lady Dragons were flawless, committing no errors. Harvell anchored the effort with six defensive plays, helping preserve the shutout.
