One of the community’s most anticipated spring traditions is set to return this weekend as the Henryetta Lions Club prepares to host its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, at Nichols Park.
The free, family-friendly event is open to the public and promises a morning full of excitement, laughter and plenty of Easter surprises for children across the community.
Activities will begin promptly at 10 a.m., with organizers emphasizing a “start time sharp” approach to ensure each age group gets a fair and fun experience. The hunt will kick off with the youngest participants, ages 2-3, followed by children ages 4-6 and concluding with the 7-10 age group.
This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever, featuring more than 4,500 filled Easter eggs spread across the Nichols Park fields. In addition, children will have the chance to discover over 100 prize eggs, adding an extra layer of excitement to the hunt. Among the highlights of the day, the Henryetta Lions Club will award two bicycles in each age group, giving lucky participants the chance to ride away with one of the event’s top prizes.
Organizers say the annual egg hunt is made possible through the dedication of Lions Club members and the continued support of local sponsors, all working together to provide a safe, fun and memorable experience for area families.
Families are encouraged to arrive early, bring baskets for collecting eggs and be ready for a fast-paced and festive morning.
With spring in full swing and thousands of eggs waiting to be found, the Henryetta Lions Club’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is sure to once again deliver smiles, surprises and a strong sense of community spirit.
