A deep and competitive group of Okmulgee County seventh and eighth grade powerlifters took the platform at the state meet in El Reno, turning in solid performances across multiple weight classes and continuing to build momentum for their programs.

Leading the way for Morris was Rowdy Flud, who secured a 5th-place finish in the 132-pound division with lifts of 250 in the squat, 125 on the bench, and 260 in the deadlift. Teammate Archer Cook added a 6th-place finish in the 114-pound class, recording a 135-pound squat, 100-pound bench and 225-pound deadlift.
In the same 132-pound division, Dewar’s Brodi Morrow placed 9th, posting lifts of 150 in the squat, 100 on the bench and 200 in the deadlift.
Beggs’ Andrew Harvey represented the county in the 145-pound class, finishing 7th overall with a 225-pound squat, 130-pound bench and 290-pound deadlift.
The 168-pound division featured multiple Okmulgee County lifters. Henryetta’s Kendrick Hill led the group with a 2nd-place finish, recording lifts of 225 in the squat, 125 on the bench and 315 in the deadlift. Beggs’ Ben Wallen followed with a 13thplace finish, while Morris’ Cam Boone placed 15th in the same weight class.
Henryetta continued its strong performance in the 181-pound division, where Elias Pollard earned a 3rd-place finish. Pollard posted lifts of 235 in the squat, 155 on the bench and 275 in the deadlift to secure a spot on the podium.
Morris lifter Grayson Wilson competed in the 198-pound class, finishing 24th overall with lifts of 155 in the squat, 90 on the bench and 225 in the deadlift.
In the heavyweight division, Beggs’ Dylan Houser represented the county with an 11th-place finish, recording a 260-pound squat, 135-pound bench, and 260-pound deadlift.

Morris lifter Case Hawkins led off the day for the county in the 123-pound division, earning an 8thplace finish with lifts of 225 in the squat, 120 on the bench, and 235 in the deadlift. In the 132-pound class, Beggs’ Michael Cruz secured a 6th-place finish, recording a 240-pound squat, 150-pound bench, and 290-pound deadlift. Morris’ Conner McCulloch also competed in the division, placing 18th with a total that included a 235-pound squat, 125-pound bench and 265-pound deadlift.
At 168 pounds, Henryetta’s Alexander Hernandez placed 21st, posting lifts of 250 in the squat, 155 on the bench, and 305 in the deadlift.
The 181-pound division saw another Henryetta athlete, Xander McFerran, finished 22nd overall, matching a 225-pound squat and 155-pound bench while adding a 315-pound deadlift.
One of the top performances of the day came in the 198-pound class, where Dewar’s Malachi Bogart powered his way to a 4th-place finish. Bogart posted an impressive 335-pound squat, 205-pound bench, and 350-pound deadlift to earn a spot near the top of the standings.
Also in the 198-pound division, Henryetta’s Noah Green placed 6th, recording a strong 350-pound squat, 210-pound bench and 315-pound deadlift.
Henryetta continued to show strength in the heavyweight division. Mason Howell earned a 6th- place finish with lifts of 385 in the squat, 165 on the bench, and 405 in the deadlift, while teammate Jokobe Craig followed with a 9th-place finish, posting a 365-pound squat, 205-pound bench and 375-pound deadlift.
From top-five finishes to valuable experience on the state stage, Okmulgee County’s eighth grade lifters demonstrated both strength and consistency across the board. With multiple athletes placing in competitive divisions, the group continues to show progress and depth that points toward a promising future for high school competition in the years ahead.
Across the board, Okmulgee County’s athletes showed depth and determination at the state level, with multiple top finishes and representation in nearly every weight class. Their performances highlight the continued growth of powerlifting programs throughout the county and set a strong foundation for future success as these athletes continue to develop.
