Jane Laxton, 96, a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on December 13, 1929, to Bill and Pearl Horton Roberts.

A graveside service was held at Okmulgee Cemetery on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Okmulgee Humane Society, P.O. Box 663, Okmulgee, OK 74447.
