Wilson left little doubt in its district title game against Depew, turning in one of its most complete performances of the season in an 86-25 victory.
The Tigers set the tone early, jumping out to a 17-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and extending the margin to 42-9 by halftime. Wilson’s defense continued to stifle Depew in the second half, holding the Hornets to just six third-quarter points while the Tigers surged ahead 67-15 entering the final period.
Wilson closed out the game with another strong quarter to seal the 61-point win and secure the district championship, keeping their postseason hopes alive on the Road to the Coliseum.

The district tournament also brought a significant personal milestone for Wilson’s Jaslene Proctor, who surpassed 500 career rebounds. Proctor’s achievement highlights her consistent presence on the boards and her impact on the Lady Tigers program, with the total continuing to grow as the postseason continues.

The Lady Tigers, meanwhile, moved into the consolation side of the bracket and are scheduled to face Woodland on Thursday evening at Earlsboro. With a win, Wilson would advance to the next round of consolation play at Glencoe, needing multiple victories to keep their postseason hopes alive and earn a trip to Area.
With the postseason now in full swing, the Tigers will look to carry their high-powered offense and suffocating defense into regional competition, while the Lady Tigers aim to regroup and make a run through the consolation bracket.
