Lawaunta Sue Soap

December 21, 1948 – December 19, 2025

Lawaunta Sue Soap passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, two days before her 77th birthday. She was surrounded by her loved ones, whom she had so freely given her love throughout her life.

Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Integrity Chapel, with Emerson Falls officiating. Interment followed at New Sonora Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Per her request, instead of flowers, please make donations to the mission of Indian Falls Creek, 517 S. Francis Street, Ada OK 74820, or the native Praise Choir and/or Native American Link, PO Box 470974, Tulsa, OK 74147.
