Justus Mosco of the Henryetta Free-Lance and Okmulgee Times stopped by last week to drop off dog food for Henryetta Public School’s Miss Mace, the district’s therapy animal. The Okmulgee Times and Henryetta Free-Lance began the “Give a Dog a Bone” drive in 2023 to collect food and treats for animals used in the therapy programs at three county schools. The drive is ongoing, and those wishing to make a donation can contact staff at 918-756-3600 for additional information.
