Okmulgee County Youth Wrestling Quintet Dec. 22

Youth wrestling fans across Okmulgee County will have a full slate of action to enjoy later this month as the Okmulgee County Youth Wrestling Quintet returns on Dec. 22, bringing together local programs and a special guest club for an exciting night on the mat.

Hosted by The Mojo Grappling Academy, the event will feature all four Okmulgee County youth wrestling programs competing together once again, with the addition of the Eufaula Ironhead Wrestling Club, adding a new dimension to this year’s showcase. The expanded format promises more matches, more variety and an energetic atmosphere for wrestlers, families, and fans alike.

The quintet will take place at the Wilson Gym, located at 8867 Chestnut Road in Henryetta. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m., with wrestling action scheduled to begin promptly at 6 p.m.

Admission is set at $5 for ages 12 and up, while wrestlers and coaches will be admitted free, making the event accessible for families and supporters throughout the county.

Participating programs include:

• Mojo Grappling Academy

• Morris Eagles Wrestling Club

• Henryetta Knights Wrestling Club

• Beggs Youth Wrestling Program

• Eufaula Ironhead Wrestling Club Organizers say the event builds on the success of last year’s county youth wrestling competition, which drew strong community support and showcased the depth of young wrestling talent in the area. With Eufaula joining the lineup this year, fans can expect an even more competitive and entertaining evening.

The Okmulgee County Youth Wrestling Quintet is designed not only to provide quality competition for young athletes, but also to celebrate the growth of youth wrestling programs across the region. Families, friends, and community members are encouraged to attend and support these athletes as they take the mat in one of the most anticipated youth wrestling events of the season.
