OSUIT to host Fall 2025 commencement Friday

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology will host its Fall 2025 Commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 12, honoring graduates from across the university’s three schools. The ceremonies will take place at Covelle Hall on the OSUIT campus in Okmulgee, with two separate sessions:

• 10 a.m. – BT Applied Industry/ Technical Leadership, BT Information Technologies, AAS 3D Modeling and Animation, AAS Applied Technology, AAS Culinary Arts, AAS Graphic Design, AAS Information Technologies, AS Business, AS Pre-Professional Studies

• 2 p.m. – AAS Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, AAS Construction Management, AAS Electrical Construction, AAS Engineering Technologies, AAS Environmental Health & Safety, AAS Power Plant, Ford ASSET, Truck Technician, AAS Nursing, AS Allied Health Sciences, AS Pre-Education Doors open at 8:45 a.m. for the morning ceremony and at 12:45 p.m. for the afternoon. No tickets are required, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Lee Denney, a veterinarian, educator, and public servant who has spent decades serving rural Oklahoma through veterinary practice, local and state leadership including speaker pro-tempore of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, higher education administration, federal and state appointments, and who continues to serve her community as Payne County Treasurer while still practicing veterinary medicine.

This year’s ceremony will also recognize three outstanding graduates for their exemplary achievements: Chelsea Lee, Marcus Allen and Jackson Beggs.

Graduation guests will find designated parking near Covelle Hall, including spaces with accessibility accommodations. For special seating or parking needs, contact Hope Hubbard at 918293-4942.

Official photography will be provided by Genesee Photo Systems; guests may pre-register for photos in advance. Accessibility services – including sign language interpretation and support for those with visual or hearing impairments – are available upon request.
