Johnnie Arthur Vierling, 83, retired machinist of Checotah, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Tulsa. Johnnie was born to Johnnie Addison Vierling and Maudie Cleo (Powell) Vierling on Wednesday, July 8, 1942, in Okmulgee. Mr. Vierling served for 13 years in the United States Army National Guard.

The family will announce the details for a celebration of life in the coming weeks, under the direction of Gary Kelley’s Add’Vantage Funeral Service.
