City of Henryetta employees were busy hanging the greens for Christmas on streetlight posts Monday. Henryetta is buzzing about the upcoming annual Christmas Parade, along with the Henryetta Hallmark Christmas events. Merchants are decorating their storefronts in anticipation for the “most wonderful time of the year.” The four decorating ‘elves’ were Dillon Padgett, Ryder Herring, Nick Williams and Shane Putman, who operated the skid steer lift. Thank you gents for brightening up our days (and especially our Nights of Yuletide Cheer!). Henryetta Hallmark is Saturday, Dec. 6, from 4-9 p.m. The annual Christmas Parade is the next Saturday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m.
