The holiday season is approaching, and with it comes the 10th annual Harlan Ford Toy Drive, which began Nov. 14, and continues through Dec. 20. Organized with the support of the Okmulgee County Department of Human Services and the Okmulgee Police Department, this annual drive aims to ensure that every local child experiences the joy of Christmas morning.
This year’s toy drive is calling on the community to donate new, unwrapped toys and bicycles. All gifts collected will be distributed to children throughout Okmulgee County, directly supporting families in need during the holiday season.
During a recent event, representatives from businesses and organizations gathered at Harlan Ford to film a commercial advertising the campaign. Last year, approximately 14 truck bed loads of toys were donated.
The drive has grown significantly in its ten years, thanks to the generosity of area residents and the participation of numerous local businesses and organizations who serve as donation drop-off locations. Supporters can bring toys to any of the following partnering sites:

For ten years, the Harlan Ford Toy Drive has embodied the spirit of giving in Okmulgee County. This milestone year promises to be the biggest yet as local businesses, civic groups, churches, and families come together to brighten the holidays for area youth.
