— Meetings & Presentations
• Attended the Board of County Commissioners meeting to provide departmental updates and ongoing project information.
• Presented the Okmulgee Fire Department with two 4-Gas Meters on behalf of the Okmulgee County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) to enhance hazardous materials response capabilities.
— Projects & Program Development • Continued work on the SafetyPlus Edge system rollout, ensuring proper configuration and staff onboarding for enhanced safety and compliance tracking.
• Participated in a virtual demonstration of the Genesys Mass Notification and EVAC System to evaluate potential integration into countywide emergency communications.
— Training & Education
• Conducted a New Hire Safety Meeting at the Emergency Management Office, providing orientation on workplace safety, emergency procedures and departmental protocols.
• Volunteers assisted with organizing and cleaning the Public Education Closet, improving accessibility and readiness of outreach materials for future community engagement events.
— Administrative Tasks
• Completed and submitted all Department of Labor forms requested following the recent audit to ensure full compliance and accurate record-keeping.
— Field Activities
• Visited road projects at 170 Road, 340 Road and 300 Road to assess ongoing work and document progress related to infrastructure and emergency accessibility.
