Henryetta residents will have the opportunity to tidy up their homes and neighborhoods during the upcoming City-Wide Cleanup scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Dumpsters will be available at the Public Works Garage for residents to dispose of household items. Each household is allowed two trips, and residents must bring a current water bill as proof of residency.
Please note that brush, limbs, tires, and paint will not be accepted at this event. Organizers encourage residents to check for updates as more information will be shared closer to the event date.
Additionally, Okmulgee County District 3 will provide dumpsters for anyone in the county during the same dates and times. Unlike the city cleanup, District 3 will accept brush, and no proof of residency is required. Their dumpsters will be located ¼ mile south of the South Nichols Park entrance.
This event is a great opportunity for Henryetta residents to clear out unwanted items and help keep the community clean.
