It’s officially “Walker Cup” week. On Monday, coaches, athletic directors and players from Morris and Henryetta gathered for the display of the Walker Cup Trophy, honoring the late Coach John Walker, which has been at Henryetta High School for the past year after their win over the Eagles last year. Walker had the distinct honor of coaching at both Morris and Henryetta. The in-county rivalry now stands at 2-1 for Henryetta, with Coach Jimmy Whitlock’s squad looking to even the score this Friday.
