Lady Dragons’ rally falls short against Beggs A three-run home run by Emmy Hall brought the Dewar Lady Dragons within striking distance, but early errors proved costly in a 7-5 loss to the Beggs Lady Demons on Thursday.
Dewar took an early 1-0 lead in the first after a Jadyn Ross RBI single. However, Beggs responded with three runs in the bottom half, aided by a Dewar error, a single from Destiny Chisum and a bases-loaded walk drawn by Taytum Mills. Beggs tacked on three more runs in the second on a hit by Emma Trimble and a groundout by Ruby Tenison. Dewar made it close with Hall’s home run in the third, but Kayleigh Thompson’s RBI single in the bottom half sealed the game for Beggs.
