Wilson, Henryetta deliver wins on the diamond
By PATRICK FORD Editor,

It was a jam-packed week of softball action in Okmulgee County, with the Wilson Lady Tigers and Henryetta Lady Knights both showing strength on the field across multiple games. From walk-offs to no-hit performances, both squads racked up notable victories and battled through tight contests. Here’s a comprehensive look at last week’s highlights.

Wilson overcame a 3–1 deficit in the second inning by tying the game in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by E. Bear, then pulling ahead with a three-run sixth that included clutch singles by Bear and M. Dobson.

Proctor also earned the win in the circle, pitching five innings of scoreless ball, allowing just one hit while striking out five and walking two. K. Currin pitched the first inning, surrendering three runs on one hit and three walks.
