The Henryetta Lady Knights posted a decisive 9-0 victory over Wilson Tuesday, highlighted by strong pitching and a balanced offensive attack.
Henryetta scored early, plating two runs in the first inning on a home run by Serenity Rex. The second inning proved decisive, as the Lady Knights added five runs without recording a hit. Walks, hitby- pitches, and a sacrifice fly provided a comfortable lead. The team added two more runs in the third inning, thanks to an RBI single and additional free passes.
The Lady Knights’ pitching staff limited Wilson to just three hits across five innings. Keegan Hamric and Allie Davis combined for six strikeouts, no runs allowed, and a clean defensive effort that included zero errors. Rex led the offensive attack with three RBIs, while other key contributions came from Mya Randleman, Hamric and Rock.
Wilson’s offense was limited but had a bright spot in Jamie Proctor, who went 2-for-2 at the plate. Henryetta’s dominance on both sides of the ball underscores the depth and talent of the Lady Knights roster.
