Veterans and their families will have the opportunity to receive food assistance during the upcoming Feed the Vets program hosted by VFW Post 539, on Thursday at 11 a.m. The event will be held at New Life Church, located at 1201 S. C Street in Henryetta.

Volunteers are encouraged to arrive at 10 a.m. to help divide the food for distribution to military veterans and their dependents. Community members interested in volunteering or participating are asked to contact VFW/ DAV Veteran Service Officer Tricia Bear at 479-414-0952 or Leah Thompson at 205-5055519 with any questions regarding the program.
