Vets for Pets Costume Contest Winners Named

The winners of the 2025 VFW Post 539 Inaugural Vets for Pets Costume Contest, held Aug. 30, were announced. Connie Counts and her Morkie dog, Luna, placed first, winning the $100 grand prize. Placing second and taking home $50 were Corbin Lawrence and his Supermutt Olive, while Bethany Sullivan and her Eastern European Shephard, Nova, finished third, winning $25.
