The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Henryetta Police Department with a shooting which occurred early Thursday morning. According to Sheriff Eddy Rice, OCSO patrolmen and investigators were assigned to assist the HPD in the investigation. Citizens were urged to avoid the area of 7th to 9th Street on Gentry until units were able to process this scene. No details as to the incident were available at press time.
