Henryetta Public Library is inviting young readers to kick off their summer with books, games and creativity through its 2025 Summer Reading Program, Color Our World.
Open to all students entering 1st through 8th grade, the program encourages reading for fun while rewarding participants with prizes and engaging weekly activities. Registration runs from June 2-7, and all sessions will be held on Mondays at 1 p.m., beginning June 9 and continuing on June 16, 23 and 30 and July 7 and 14.
This year’s program promises a variety of interactive experiences, including classic outdoor games
SEE SUMMER READING PROGRAM, PAGE A3 like corn hole, bubble machine fun, sidewalk chalk art and even personalized handprint t-shirts. The weekly sessions aim to spark imagination and keep young minds active throughout the summer months.
To make the experience even more exciting, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 175 - Henryetta has generously donated a $50 Walmart gift card. Every child who attends a weekly session will have their name entered into a drawing for the prize more attendance means more chances to win!
Participants can also earn additional fun rewards simply by reading. The more books read, the more prizes they can claim.
