Merrilan Katherine Bruner was born on March 13, 1944, to Dewey and Rosella Bruner in Okmulgee. She passed away May 17, 2025.

Her Sacred Farewell was held Saturday, May 17, 2025, two hours into the afternoon in the most holy sanctuary of First Baptist Church Central, 521 N. Central Ave. in Okmulgee. The Pastor, Rev. Darren Williams, presided.

You may visit Ms. Bruner as she slumbers in sweet repose at Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc. on Friday, from 1-6 p.m.

The christian committal and burial will follow on the sacred grounds of the Tuskegee Cemetery in Edna.
