The annual Preston Baseball Camp is returning this summer with two days of fun, fundamentals and fellowship, welcoming boys entering Kindergarten through 6th grade from across the region.

Scheduled for Sunday and Monday, June 2 and 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day, the camp will take place at the Preston High School Baseball Field. The registration fee is $60 per participant and includes a complimentary camp t-shirt.

The camp is hosted by Preston Head Baseball Coach Ryan Hudson and Assistant Coach Cody Mc-Cart, along with players from the Preston Pirates baseball team who will serve as camp volunteers and mentors. Together, they’ll offer hands-on instruction to help young players boost their baseball skills and confidence.

“We’re excited to host another year of Preston Baseball Camp,” Coach Hudson said. “It’s a great opportunity for young athletes to grow, learn the fundamentals and have fun while being active. We’re proud to welcome kids from all schools - it’s open to everyone.”

Throughout the two-day event, campers will receive personalized instruction in throwing, catching, batting, base running and other essential techniques. In addition to honing their abilities, participants will build friendships and enjoy the spirit of the game in a supportive and engaging environment.

To cap off the experience, an awards ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the camp on June 3 at noon, where each camper will be recognized with a medal in honor of their hard work and participation. Parents are encouraged to attend the closing event and cheer on their athletes.
