As the final school bells prepare to ring for the last time this academic year, students across Okmulgee County are trading in their backpacks for caps and gowns, ready to step into a new chapter of life. With emotions high and excitement building, schools across the county are hosting a series of events to honor the Class of 2025 - a group defined by resilience, growth and ambition.

From senior breakfasts and awards assemblies to heartfelt ceremonies, communities are coming together to celebrate their graduates in style.

--- Wilson School Graduation Week

Wilson School kicked off its graduation season with a Baccalaureate service at Wilson Baptist Church on May 4.

On Tuesday, May 13, promotion ceremonies will be held in the New Gym throughout the day:

• P3-PK Promotion at 9 a.m.

• Kindergarten Promotion at 10 a.m.

• 8th Grade Promotion at 7 p.m. The week culminates with Senior Graduation on Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m., also in the New Gym, where families, teachers and classmates will honor the achievements of Wilson’s graduating seniors.

--- A Look at Countywide Graduation Dates Here’s when and where other Okmulgee County schools will celebrate their seniors:

• Beggs - Friday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m.

• Green Country Technology Center (GCTC) Saturday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at the Claude Cox Omniplex (Mvskoke Dome).

• Preston - Tuesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. in the Jim Waller Gymnasium

• Dewar - Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m.

• Morris - Friday, May 16, at 7 p.m. at the Mvskoke Dome

• Okmulgee - Saturday, May 17, at 8 a.m. in Brock Gymnasium

• Henryetta - Friday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at the Knights Center Each of these ceremonies marks not just the end of an era, but the start of something greater as students prepare to enter college, the workforce, military service, or other pursuits.
