May 14 Fitness 4 Kids Fun & 5K Run | Preston Elementary School will hod a Fitness 4 Kids and 5K Run Wednesday, May 14, at 8:30 a.m. at the Jim Waller Sports Complex in Preston. The registration fee is $25 and all participants will receive popsicles at lunch. Visit www.prestonps. com to register.

May 15 Okmulgee FFA Chapter Banquet | Okmulgee FFA will hold its annual Chapter Banquet Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m. at the Okmulgee County Fairgrounds.

May 17 Second Baptist Clothing Closet | Second Baptist Church will hold their clothing closet Saturday, May 17.

May 31 Baptist Village Car Show | Baptist Village of Okmulgee will hold a Cruise into Summer Car Show Saturday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1500 W. 6th Street. The event will feature free hot dogs, raffles, vendor booths and games for kids.

Ongoing Events Dunbar All-School Vendors | The Dunbar All-School Vendor Market is seeking participants for each Tuesday and Thursday throughout May, June and July. The market is held at 420 E 2nd St. in Okmulgee from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Contact Tamra Turner at 918-812-2041 for more information.

Okmulgee County Democrats | The Okmulgee County Democrats meet the third Thursday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. at the OSUIT Student Union, 1801 E. 4th St. in Okmulgee.

New Day Church Game Night | New Day Church, 711 N. Okmulgee, will host a game night each Friday from 7-9:30 p.m. The church will provide table games for those interested in having fun. Game nights are open to the public, and participants are encouraged to bring snacks.

Fostering Hope | Training Day for area foster/adoption parents will now take place the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at Cornerstone Foursquare, 617 N. Oklahoma Ave. in Okmulgee. The connection meeting offers a shared meal, free childcare, CE’s and face-toface connections. RSVP at 918-815-2430.

Christian Motorcycle Association | Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the OSUIT Student Union.
