Legislative Forum | The Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce will host its Legislative Forum Friday, May 2, at 8:30 a.m. at the Mabrey Bank meeting room, 111 E. 6th St. in Okmulgee.

CMN Commencement | College of the Muscogee Nation will hold its 16th annual commencement Friday, May 2, at 10 a.m. at the Mvskoke Dome, 2950 Warrior Rd. in Okmulgee.

May 2-3 Morris FFA Plant Sale | Morris FFA will hold a plant sale Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, outside the Morris Agriculture Building. The sale will feature hanging baskets, flowers, vegetables and more, all grown by Mrs. Burkett’s Greenhouse Production class.

Compass Assembly Rummage Sale | Compass Assembly of God Church will hold a rummage sale Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, starting at 8 a.m. at the church, located at 13455 Loop 56 in Okmulgee.

May 3 New Day Church Rummage/ Craft Sale | New Day Church will hold a rummage/craft sale on Saturday, May 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, located at 711 N. Okmulgee Ave. in Okmulgee. The sale will feature collectables, houseware, furniture, clothing and more. The sale will take place indoors rain or shine.

Second Baptist Clothing Closet | Second Baptist Church will hold their clothing closet Saturday, May 3.

Okmulgee First Free Will Baptist Church Indian Taco Fundraiser | Okmulgee First Free Will Baptist Church will hold an Indian Taco fundraiser for the youth group Saturday, May 3, at noon, until sold out. The $10 meal will feature an authentic Indian Taco, dessert and a drink. The church is located at 601 S. Oklahoma Ave. in Okmulgee. Text Bobby McDonald at 539-286-8554 for more information.

May 4 Pet Costume Contest | A pet costume contest will be held Sunday, May 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the Pocket Park, 218 W. 6th St. in Okmulgee. The Star Warsthemed contest is sponsored by Mithril Adventures, Vets for Pets and the Rotary Club. Contact Sam Richardson at richmakeamove@ aol.com.

May 5 OCCJA Personal Safety Class | The OCCJA and OPD invite the public to a Personal Safety Class featuring News on 6 co-anchor Lori Fullbright.
