Phillips powers Preston in 15-3 rout of Muskogee Na’Braijhanae Phillips led the offensive charge with five RBIs on three hits - including a threerun homer - to lift the Preston Lady Pirates to a commanding 15-3 victory over the Muskogee Lady Roughers on Monday at the Jim Waller Sports Complex.
Phillips jumpstarted the offense in the bottom of the first with a towering blast over left field, putting Preston ahead 4-1 after Muskogee’s C. Norman had opened scoring with a solo shot. Phillips continued her dominance in the second, driving in two more runs on a single.
Taylan Starr crushed a threerun homer in the third as Preston tacked on five more runs, while Olivia Beaver sealed the win with a three-run homer in the sixth. Kristin Holuby earned the win in the circle, scattering eight hits across six innings with one strikeout.
Preston tallied 16 hits in the contest, led by Phillips and Caris Tecumseh with three each. The Lady Pirates were flawless in the field, with Starr recording five defensive chances.

Preston erupted for eight runs in the second inning, with key hits from Kristin Holuby (two-RBI double), Olivia Beaver (two-RBI single) and Alynn LeBlanc (two-RBI double). Preston got on the board early with home runs from Phillips and Hurt, along with a triple by Sophia Bunner.
Holuby pitched four solid innings, giving up just five hits and two runs. Josie Cope led at the plate, going 3-for-3. Preston again committed no errors, with Phillips tallying four fielding chances.

Cope hit a sacrifice fly in the first, then delivered a two-run single in the second and a two-RBI double in the third. The Lady Pirates notched 12 hits, including three from Alynn LeBlanc and two each from Hurt and Bunner.
Holuby picked up another win, giving up just two runs across four innings. Preston drew nine walks and committed no fielding errors. Okemah’s Switch suffered the loss despite eight team hits.
