Lady Knights’ offense explodes in recent series of wins

The Henryetta Lady Knights showcased their offensive firepower across a recent series of games, lighting up the scoreboard with home runs, big innings and standout performances from stars like Allie Davis, Ailanee Hicks and Keegan Hamric.

The Henryetta Lady Knights showcased their offensive firepower across a recent series of games, lighting up the scoreboard with home runs, big innings and standout performances from stars like Allie Davis, Ailanee Hicks and Keegan Hamric.

--- Game 1: Henryetta 18, Lady Eagles 9

Allie Davis launched two home runs and drove in two runs as the Lady Knights out-slugged the visiting Lady Eagles in an 18-9 shootout. Davis went deep in the first and third innings to help spark a 14-hit effort by Henryetta.

After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the first, Henryetta surged ahead with a four-run bottom half, featuring back-to-back homers by Davis and Keegan Hamric. Ailanee Hicks broke the game wide open in the second with a grand slam, part of a five-run frame. The Knights kept the pressure on with home runs by Hailey Lewis, Kelsey Brandt and Renny Rex, and a three-run blast by Khloe Coates in the sixth.

Keegan Hamric delivered a seven-RBI performance, including a first-inning home run and a double, leading the Lady Knights to a 21-0 rout of Holdenville. Henryetta scored 16 runs in the first inning alone, capitalizing on Holdenville errors and unleashing a 10-hit barrage in the frame.

Hamric also tossed a three-inning one-hit shutout in the circle.

Ailanee Hicks had a career night, hitting three home runs and collecting six RBIs in a second dominant win over Holdenville. Hicks homered in the first, second and third innings as Henryetta ran away with the 18-9 win.

After trailing 5-2 in the second, the Lady Knights scored eight in the bottom half to take control, with Hicks delivering a three-run homer to cap the rally.

Despite a strong start from Allie Davis with a tworun homer in the first and a game-tying single from Keegan Hamric in the third, the Lady Knights were outpaced by the Morrison Ladycats, who pulled away with four runs in the fourth inning.

Henryetta tallied 10 hits in the loss, led by Ailanee Hicks’ 3-for-4 performance.
