Beggs tallied 19 hits, led by Chloe Cooper’s 3-for-3 effort and key hits from Trimble, Tenison, Yandell, Harmon and Brigance. Tenison pitched all seven innings for the win.
Hennessey also collected 18 hits but couldn’t hold their late lead.
--- Beggs falls in 5-3 battle against Stroud Despite 13 hits, the Beggs Lady Demons were edged out by Stroud 5-3 on Thursday. Chloe Cooper had a two-RBI triple to briefly give Beggs the lead.
Tenison took the loss on the mound, while Delean powered Stroud with a homer and multiple RBIs. Beggs played clean defense with no errors.
