--- Lil’ Tigers Basketball Event • April 29
The Wilson Gymnasium will come alive on Tuesday, April 29, for the Wilson Lil’ Tigers Basketball showcase. The event provides the community a chance to cheer on the youngest generation of athletes as they take to the court in a fun, family-friendly setting.
The schedule includes:
• 4 p.m. - P3/Pre-Kindergarten
• 4:30 p.m. - Kindergarten
• 5 p.m. - 1st/2nd Grade Girls
• 5:30 p.m. - 1st/2nd Grade Boys Admission is $3 for students and $5 for adults. The event promises a lively evening of basketball while giving young players their moment in the spotlight.
--- Wilson vs Schulter Alumni Basketball • May 10 On Saturday, May 10, the Wilson High School Gymnasium will host a special Wilson vs Schulter Alumni Basketball showdown, offering a thrilling double-header of women’s and men’s games:
• 5 p.m. - Women’s Game
• 6:30 p.m. - Men’s Game The event invites former players to suit up once again and take the court in this friendly but competitive rivalry. The cost to participate is $20, which includes a commemorative t-shirt. Participants are asked to register and submit payment by May 3 to ensure shirts can be ordered in time. Payments can be made via check (to Wilson Public School), Cash App, or PayPal and turned in to Coach Rikki Wolfe at Wilson School.
Spectators are welcome, with an admission charge at the door. Concessions will be available, and all proceeds from the evening will benefit the Wilson Lady Tigers Basketball program.
