Dust off your leather jackets, tease that hair, and get your dancing shoes ready – Henryetta High School’s H-Town Theatre is set to deliver the ultimate musical time machine with its upcoming production, Through the Decades!

This high-energy showcase takes over the Alice Ghostley Auditorium on Saturday, March 29, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 30, at 2 p.m., promising a nonstop celebration of music’s most iconic hits from the 1950s to the 2000s.

“This show is like nothing we’ve done before,” organizers said. “It’s a thrilling ride through the hits that defined generations, and no matter what era you grew up in, there’s something for you to From the golden era of doo-wop and early rock ‘n’ roll to the heart-thumping anthems of modern pop, Through the Decades highlights some of the most unforgettable voices in music history – each brought to life by Henryetta’s rising stars.

— A Star-Studded Lineup of Musical Legends Each decade will feature “Featured Artists,” played by H-Town’s most dedicated student performers. While not impersonators, these young talents bring authenticity, flair, and show-stopping vocals in honor of music’s greatest legends.

1950’s

• Featured Artist: Patsy Cline – performed by sophomore Grace Pollard • Buddy Holly

• Patti Page

• Dion & The Belmonts • Bobby Day

• Paul Anka

• The Chordettes Expect rich harmonies, heartfelt ballads, and swingin’ rockabilly rhythms that defined a generation.

— 1960’s

• Nancy Sinatra

• Roy Orbison

• The Bee Gees

• Etta James

• The Shangri-Las

• The Mamas and the Papas A harmonizing powerhouse group featuring Jayson Scott, Braden Lollis, Jacob Nail and James George will also bring a signature 60s sound to life, guaranteed to take audiences on a groovy journey of peace, love and legendary tunes. — 1970’s

• Featured Artist: Dolly Parton – played by H-Town Theatre’s upand- coming 8th grader Brittyn Williams The ‘70s set will channel the spirit of disco, country legends and rock ‘n’ roll soul.

— 1980’s

• Featured Artist: Stevie Nicks – performed by senior standout Emma Thompson Get ready for powerful vocals and an edge of rock mystique as Stevie’s iconic sound fills the auditorium.

— 1990’s

• Featured Artist: Gwen Stefani – portrayed by senior Addy Chavez With Addy taking the stage, expect a burst of 90s energy, skapop flavor, and serious girl-power vibes.

— 2000’s

The production will wrap up with hits from the early 2000s – songs that had everyone dancing and singing along. While some surprises are still in store, organizers promise the final act will leave the crowd on its feet.
