Blake Gaxiola entered the competition aiming for 1st place but faced an early setback with a missed squat attempt. He fought back throughout the day to stay in contention for 2nd place. His final attempt in the deadlift required a 590-lb pull, which he successfully lifted, but a technical error pushed him down to 4th place.
